This skin can be physical, mental or spiritual. We are all changing gradually every day, every minute, usually we don't notice. Sometimes though, there's a point where you realize you're about to leave your past behind.

On another level, it's a hope that race, culture and gender prejudices can be shed and we can all move into a future where everyone is valued for who they become rather than how they were born.
