In the late 80s, while recording my BLUE CAFE album, I was introduced to Andy Horka who came into the studio to add sax to I'M NOT DREAMING (li.sten.to/ImNotDreaming) and SKIN AND EMOTION (li.sten.to/SkinAndEmotion). I'll never forget the sessions.

Andy had not heard the song. I played the track. He said, "Could I hear it again, please?" I played it again. He said, "OK, put it in record."

He did a take. I thought it was perfect. Andy said, "Let me try one more," so we recorded take 2.

The final record released was take 1. Talk about talent!

We lost contact when Andy moved to the West Coast, but he got in touch to congratulate me on the success of MIRACLE 2021. One thing led to another and we've collaborated on a couple of songs so far. DAYDREAMS is the first to be released.

Andy wrote it back in the 80s. He sent me a rough arrangement to sing on. I worked with it, sang on it, sent it back and he laid down the sax. Then I mixed and mastered it. All virtually.

Elyce and I are excited by the result!
